OUR WIDER COMMUNITY

  • God calls us to be followers of Jesus Christ and, by the power of the Holy Spirit, to grow as communities of grace, joy, and peace, so that God's healing and hope flow through us to the world.
  • MCBC is the family of 40 congregations in British Columbia who are affiliated with the Mennonite Church Canada.
  • Camp Squeah is a children's summer camp and outdoor education facility. A ministry of Mennonite Church British Columbia, it is utilized by many organizations for weekend conferences and retreats.
  • Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) is a relief, service, and peace agency of the North American Mennonite and Brethren in Christ churches. MCC reflects the biblical call to care for the hungry and thirsty, the stranger, the sick and those in prison.
  • Mennonite Disaster Service is a channel through which various constituencies of the Anabaptist church can respond to those affected by disasters in North America. While our main focus is on clean up, repair and rebuilding homes, this activity becomes a means of touching lives and helping people regain faith and wholeness.
  • Mennonite Mission Network exists to lead, mobilize and equip the church to participate in holistic witness to Jesus Christ in a broken world. We envision every congregation and all parts of the church being fully engaged in mission - across the street, all through the marketplaces and around the world.
  • Canadian Mennonite Voluntary Service (MVS) programs deals with living together in a household with other volunteers, and sharing together as Christian disciples. MVS offer opportunities for volunteers to live in a shared household arrangement supported by a local Mennonite congregation, in one five locations across Canada.
  • MWC exists to (1) be a global community of faith in the Anabaptist-tradition, (2) facilitate community between Anabaptist-related churches worldwide, and (3) relate to other Christian world communions and organizations.
  • CPT seeks to enlist the response of the whole church in conscientious objection to war, and the development of nonviolent institutions, skills and training for intervention in conflict situations.
  • Canadian Mennonite University is an innovative degree-granting Christian university in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Building upon over 50 years, CMU offers a variety of degrees and choice of educational settings.
