So our final day in China, we were tourists again. We visited the panda research centre just outside of Chengdu, then hung out at Leanna's wonderful cafe (and got to chat with David B for almost an hour), and then spent the rest of our afternoon in the Hanson home. It was really hard to say goodbye to all these new great friends, even though I can't wait to get back to Sandra and sons. I was the only one of our group to have a very early Tuesday morning flight out to Tokyo, so I flew from Chengdu to Beijing last night, and now I'm waiting in the Narita airport (near Tokyo) for the last leg of the journey home. I'm exhausted from a number of short flights in a row, and now it's jet lag ahead. So I'll just let these last pictures speak for themselves.
