Youth Group

The Peace Youth Group is a community for high school students, from Grades 7-12. We meet every week on Wednesday night from 7:30-9:30 pm, in the upstairs youth room at the church. Wednesday nights are often times of games, singing, and discussions about faith and teenage life. On an average evening, we will have around 25 youth and 8 young adult leaders.

In addition to our weekly gatherings, we occasionally do things together on weekends, whether they be service opportunities or fun times like the "Couch Rally" or the "Fast Food Formal" (not that service can't be fun too). About three times a year, we also leave the city behind for a weekend and "retreat" into God's creation as a youth group. These are usually the highlights of the year for youth at Peace.

Finally, every Sunday after the morning worship service, we get together and study what the Bible has to say in relation to topics like racism, acceptance, and peace.

At Peace youth, our desire is to follow the Jesus who loves us and died for us. We want to become more like Him and share His love with those around us.
