In light of the horrific school shooting in Tumbler Ridge, our service has pivoted. The horrific violence and unimaginable horror has shocks our nation. It brings collective trauma, hard questions, and deep emotion. Many will feel grief, anger, confusion, numbness, even helplessness.
This Sunday, we will reflect together on three themes:
- A place for big emotions — Jesus responds with compassion to human pain.
- Compassion at the core — His ministry reveals the heart of God as mercy and love.
- A space for healing — The church is called to be a place of refuge and restoration for a hurting world.
