Winston and his family are originally from Cape Town, South Africa. He and his wife, Sharon, have two young adult children and have lived across three continents—Africa, Asia (Singapore), and now North America.
Before stepping into pastoral ministry, Winston spent nearly 20 years working with multinational companies in the business world. He later studied theology at Regent College in Vancouver and now serves as the Lead Pastor at Peace.
Winston is passionate about preaching and teaching God’s Word. His heart is to see believers deepen their love for Jesus, grow in faith, and live as everyday disciples. He also longs for those who don’t yet know Christ to encounter His transforming love and power. Alongside this, Winston believes deeply in the local church’s call to be the presence of Christ in its neighbourhood—bringing hope through love, service, and hospitality.
Winston often describes himself as a “spiritual mongrel,” shaped by a rich and varied church background. Raised Pentecostal, he later worshiped in an evangelical Anglican church, served in Baptist congregations in Singapore and Vancouver, and now ministers within the Anabaptist (Mennonite) tradition.
