Jesus as the Center of Our Faith and Practice
This is another pivotal encounter. The Transfiguration reveals who Jesus truly is — not merely a teacher or prophet, but the radiant Son of God. The Father’s command shifts the center of authority: no longer Moses or Elijah as the primary voices, but Jesus himself. His words, actions, and example now shape how we live, speak, forgive, and love. We interpret what has come before through him and move forward with him as our Lord and example.
